Why GRACED?
We are God's Daughters
Identity is such an important aspect in our lives. Without it, people often find themselves lost and looking for their "why." Too many times, our identity is found in what we do, instead of who we are. My pastor often says that we need to stop trying to be "human doings" when we are actually human beings.

When I chose the name GRACED, it was just a play on my name. There's a nice ring to it, but no a specific scripture verse, so it was back to the drawing board. It eventually dawned on me that my identity as "God's Daughter" is first and foremost. I wanted this to be about who we are, not what we do. And I love a good acronym, so I started brainstorming words to fit "R-A-C-E." For the first couple of years, I had an acronym that was more loosely based in scripture. But in early March 2021, God showed me that it's found in Ephesians 1. If you get a chance, read everything that God says about us in that chapter. Let's live every day in this identity:

God's
Redeemed
Adopted
Chosen
Empowered
Daughters
